    Good post. Also what many American seem to don't know is South Korea is much more powerful than North Korea. For some reason that is always left out of the narrative?

    Both my parents are in their 70s and are real nervous about all this Korea stuff.They don't realize the media is trying to sell a story so they keep watching. They watch the media constantly and get all nerved up. I tried to explain to them about North Korea,but they think it is doomsday.
    Myself, I stopped a long time ago watching all those news networks when I realized they were more about ratings than actual news.

    The US has 83 military bases in South Korea. Plus, we sell them arms, so their powerful because we keep them stocked with the best weapons. If anything happens we'd be fighting together.

    The problem that people don't usually think about though is that North Korea is a buffer between the most powerful militaries on Earth. Without them you might have the US and Chinese armies sharing a border and no one wants that.

    I listen to Hardcore History and the guy used to do radio and said how all the "news" and reports and whatnot had like a specific format to evoke fear and then to assuage the fear but keep them on their toes so they had to come back for more info. and thats what ive heard from so many interviews with people in the different kinds of media.
    Myself though I try to keep a low information diet on stuff that doesnt make much of an impact on me. Now knowing whats in the latest patch of league obviously has an impact i gotta know how those nerfs and buffs are gonna affect me :eyebrows:
