I might be getting a soldering iron for my 21st birthday because my parents have no idea what to get me. lol

 

When I turned 21 I would have been pissed but now that I have a decade and a half since then, I would love one for my birthday.

Birthdays are weird for me ... I have to tell people what to get me because I am hard to buy shit for

 

Back in college one of my friends always walked around with a butane soldering iron so that was neat.

 

They are the best, nice ones have great temp settings and I love not having a wire.

 

Having to buy butane would be a pain imho but they are portable so that is neat.
