Friendly reminder that having obese pets is abusive in the same way as letting your young kids getting morbidly obese.

I try, oh how I try. She just seems to grow in size. I think it's the rage, and total refusal to move very much.

 

Do you separate them at meal times?

We tried, it made no difference and she made me bleed on the regular. The vet wasn't worried at all about her weight last checkup, said she's chunky but not in a way that was really overweight on paper. She's otherwise perfectly healthy ,albeit a chubbers Grinch. That cat will live forever just to mock me, I'm sure of it.

 

Is she super fluffy? That might also be part of why she looks so fat, though she's overweight too, obvs. If the vet said it's fine, I wouldn't worry too much about it, just kind of irks me when people post morbidly obese cats or dogs or whatever and then act like they're cute.

 

DIdn't you say your dog is so fat that he can't even lick his balls?

My doctor told me i need to diet cause I can't lick mine either

 

mine could if he went to the vet and the vet maybe has them saved somewhere.
