I use search pandas in PC only for my penny hits that drop sporadically throughout the day, and I wouldn't be bothered as much if I miss them. The key is finding the easy penny hits that have a long enough timer so you don't get distracted by the short timers while working on the more expensive HITs.

 

It is still a waste of PREs imho but

 

I hear ya. I do most of my search-based stuff with OW anyway. I turn on the search pandas when it's slow.

 

Does HIT abandonment rate come into consideration anytime?

I accidentally left panda crazy running when I left for work last night and had quite a few HITs inadvertently abandoned.

 

Nah hit abandonment and return % isn't important so don't worry about it.
