    It's not just a millennial thing, teenagers in general are pretty awful people. They don't really realize how good they have it because they're not mature enough to think about people who aren't themselves. He'll grow out of it, hopefully.

    I hope so, because he honestly is a good kid. He never gets in trouble and he does well in school. He used to be a pleasant child and lots of fun. Now he just has a bad attitude and acts like we're the worst people on earth (though I don't know why because we're not mean to him like he seems to think we are lol.)

    My MIL lives with me, and she has a teenage son (just turned 16) who also lives with me. The teenager does 0. Zip. zilch. Ask him to take out the trash and he gives me a blank look and states he doesn't know how.

    It drives me fucking nuts, but it's not my place to say shit so I just Grinch to my GF and try to show him how to do basic tasks.

    Oh. My. GOSH. Yes! I see this all the time when I visit my parents house! My brother is 20 though and still acts like that. My mom will have to ask him to do something a dozen times before he even acknowledges her. :emoji_rolling_eyes:
