Yeah. Today feels like today today.



Think I'll go commit a random act.

 

He's 2, he was a sickly little feral runt when he was a baby and I lured him into a kennel. He's allergic to flea meds, fleas, pollen, dust, probably the air. He has to eat a special diet and has a circulating fountain because his urinary tract gets inflamed easily and he nearly died in May. He often vomits foods, vomits water, vomits his own medication, vomits up leaves he decided to nibble despite the fact they always make him hurl.

He's my little baby who is too fragile for the world but still will KO a wasp for me the minute he sees it. It's pretty much a forum joke that he is allergic to anything he can't kill.

Yes, but it's full of crap and uses excess sodium to make them more thirsty. As Bearnie did not have crystals, which is what the prescription part of the food does (has a chemical that dissolves crystals) and takes kitty cat glucosamine on top of other things for his urinary tract health, simply eating mostly wet food and then a lower ph dry food with low calcium/phosphorus/magnesium has solved the problem considerably. The day I feed him hills is the day I'm dead in the grave. All my vets have been pleased with his diet and he pees like a champ now.
