That's the worst. It only happens to me once in a blue moon, but every time it hurts the same.

You're one of the good ones. I know how easy it is to look up those codes, but for whatever reason, I've encountered billing managers who can't be bothered to make it an easy task. I've stood there while they've told someone they'd call them back in an hour when the list was laminated by their desk and they could've rattled it off and been done with it instead of creating additional work. I don't get it.

I don't know if anybody on here is NBA fans, but there was a big trade,as my Celtics traded Isaiah Thomas to Cleveland Cavaliers for Kyrie Irving. I guess it happened earlier in the day, and I am just finding it out now because I have been Turking all day! lol.

Yeah, exactly! We have a list of both ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes in three different spots in our office, and the office is about the size of a walk-in closet. You can't turn 90 degrees without seeing at least one of them. There are so many ways to be lazy as a secretary/office manager/receptionist/administrative assistant, but being a lazy ash hole to patients is the last one on my list.*

*unless you treat me like trash. Then I shoot eyeball darts at you through the phone and draw mean doodles while you berate me.
