I don't know exactly how UNU quals are given out, but if I don't get the tennis one, I'm sending a message this time to inquire further. I've taken quals recently and nothing. It feels like something is wrong. And if two people in EPL last year took the qual and aren't in the new group? I don't get that either. I was under the impression they only gave out enough quals tests for spots available, but maybe they pick and choose more than I realize. But I'm starting to take it personally since I see the HITs go up every day and wonder why the heck I don't have the qual.

Sorry to be a pest but can someone tell me how the "Hit Catcher" on MTurk Suite works... I added requesters to it but nothing seems to happen. I added them by name is that how its done? Sorry for the newbie questions

 

If you are really passionate about a sport, it doesn't hurt to reach out to them. I wish we could see our stastics, I started keeping them for myself, but not in time for most of last's years EPL season, so for all I know my loss of qual is completely justified. I did win one week last year, but maybe the rest of my results weren't good enough.

 

I'm a little sad with the EPL one since I had the last qual and enjoyed it, shit, I won bonuses a few times for having the most correct predictions. I made sure to do the new qual because I enjoyed it so much.

I'll be bummed if I don't get the tennis one either, it's the only sport I played seriously in my entire life and everyone knows how I feel about balls.

Not how it's done. You have to add the Group ID for the specific hit. If you click the export, and the hit isn't there, there will be a couple buttons there that say "panda" and "once" you can click whichever you want while hit catcher is open and it'll add the GID for you.

 

HC catches HITs from the pandas. Requestors don't work for that.

I thought I'd get the highlight from pandas, but I guess my "s" was too much to handle. Why you gotta hate against plurals fam?

 

when you click any hit you'll see this in your address bar. the number at the end is what you would add to Hit Catcher if you wanted to do it manually. That tells it to constantly search for the hit, so as soon as it's available again, you will catch it.
