I have a deep appreciation for real books. but I love my kindle. When I moved out of an apartment abou 8 years ago I had a second room that had become a storage for boxes of old books. I finally sold, gave, or traded them all away and I won't go back to that lol. As much as I love the smell of an old book I can't deal with the clutter.

It's the same as if you looked at the HITs on mturk and set the 'items per page' to 25/50/100.

 

I lost about 90% of my books in a flood back when kindles were first becoming big. Seemed like a cheaper way to replace them and don't have to worry about flooded or packing when I move etc. That said I still have a lot of hardbacks and leather bound books I will never get rid of.

Booooo. I believe you have to be somewhat of an ego maniac when in the position of what he does or anyone else in that position for the matter. Kubrick took the Shining story from King and put his own spin on it. You may be already aware, but in typical Kubrick styling his Shining movie was full of allegoric deeper meanings, most of which are against the "establishment" Its nothing less than pure genius and I'm sure you are well aware of this fact as there is somewhat of a "King vs. Kubrick" feud, mostly revolved around the whole Shining story and King's dislike of Kubricks final cut of the story.

You're probably pretty much a King fanboy and there is nothing wrong with that. I totally respect the guy and his works as I do Kubrick as well.

 

So, I'm finally getting tired of waiting around for a good advancement opportunity to open up internally at my company and I'm going to apply for a new job that's slightly closer to home and should pay better. As much as I'd like to stay here, it's not making sense long-term. Wish me luck!
