He's free to do as he wishes but if he is going to decimate the original material he should have just written his own story and called it something else. I am a big fan of King's but to me that's apples and oranges. He probably wouldn't be a great director either.

It's a bit like Hanson covering a Led Zeppelin song in the style of mmmm-bop. When you destroy the source material you do a big disservice to it's creator.

He generally regarded as being one of the worst directors to work for a lot of people in his movies have much to say about that experience. His movies try to be a lot more cerebral than they actually are and his endings...

Kindle made my 5 giant floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and stacks on stacks on stacks turn into 1 nice bookshelf. I <3 my Kindle and idgaf about real books unless it's a gift, something special, something that looks nice displayed, or I find it at Goodwill, a garage sale, book sale, etc. Or a cookbook. Cookbooks have to be paper.
