    I think there are federal laws against transport unconscious people across state lines. Not to mention the whole rolled up and in the moving van I could see going wrong innumerable ways (i.e heat stroke, dehydration, exhaust leak, drowning since your gonna be crossing Texas).

    The federal laws only apply to underage people and kidnapping usually.

    And I don't think anyone would believe he was kidnapped. Is it even truly kidnapping if I take him to the place he wants to move?

    Right guys?

    At this point, even his MOM is on my side, which is a horrifying sequence of events for all of us involved.

    I mean, I wouldn't actually roll him up in a rug, but it's friggen tempting.

    @Hummingbirdee @Jude I just recently did an almost 3,000 mile drive with 2 kitties (1 being an old fussy maine coon who hates cars!) and can't recommend enough these carriers https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RYM0LYC/?tag=thtv0f-20.

    We got two and connected them and made a little play place for the kitties. One even had enough space for a litter box. They’d then sleep in these when we got to the hotel rooms as well.

    are great for wiping the interior of the beds/cars whatever if your cat get anxiety.

    Honestly, I’ve never been so stressed out about something before than this same thing.

    However, it was 100% the opposite thing in the end. Our cats after one day began to LOVE the car. They both slept in our laps and looked out the window the entire time. I think after never getting to spend time with them during the packing process made them just so beyond happy to be stuck with us for 15+ hours a day in the car.

    If either of you guys need any help or advice, let me know. We over prepared ourselves, but wouldn’t have done it any other way.
