I'm at a point at my life where I know cutting down would be helpful in terms of living a productive life but I still enjoy it too damn much.

 

It really is, but I will say this, the more versatile you are, and the more you try HITs out of your comfort zone, the more likely you are to be able to turn a really crappy day into money. when I wake up on time I've been hitting 40 dollars before around 11 am doing work for requesters that other people consider "bad" just because I found a way to do them quickly. gotta carve your own path when things are slow. then, even if the jobs are slightly underpaid, i've got forty bucks already when some fire batch drops and i'm ending the day way higher than i would have waiting for easy stuff.

My hourly average is 24. I spend most of the day not working on Mturk and doing other things just waiting for something worthy to post.

 

Hey @ChrisTurk !!! I've been using that mouse and/or it's wired predecessor since 1994... I've seen a few of these get me around when any other mouse would be near to impossible for me to use. Your mouse is definitely in charge of the cursor position and you don't have to move your hand or arm to use it under normal circumstances. My Physical Therapy dude got me to using it when I was injured in the car accident back in 1991. I've tried other mice but I away go back to this one

 

Best day since...well, last week. Still, third best day ever! Wish I could keep going but gotta get up at 5:40 tomorrow morning.

its like "what earns more 5 an hour and figuring out how to get it up to 10 an hour or not doing HITs"
I always prefer keeping busy than not doing HITs at all. cuz if i let myself take too much of a break ill find myself g playing or watching something 5 hours later with no better PE to show for it

 

Everything you just said could be carved in stone for Mturk in general. As long as I've been turking I've only ever really spent less time making the same amount of money over time. I'm fine with that, but if you NEED to treat it like a full time job, that's the best possible advice.

 

i know the keto struggle. working from home makes it easier but its still rough

 

Just sold something to someone I went to school with on eBay. (he doesn't know it's me) He lives like a mile and a half away, and here I am putting it in a box to ship it usps due to ebays proof of delivery bullshit. I drive past his house every friggin' day. Waste of 5 bucks.

 

@Ballistic406 For keto I like to have some seaweed and cheese and seeds of any kind. then i keep it simple with chicken and eggs with mayo or mustard. I dipped into microwave muffins some with almond flour. those are decent for sugar cravings
