    Does anyone have any laptop recommendations? Either Windows or Mac(no chromebooks due to program requirements). I was thinking maybe an air from my campus bookstore since it comes with beats3 wireless that I could sell to recoup part of the cost. I'm buying it to replace my iPad and laptop that are currently on their way out, I'll still have my desktop as my main mturk and gaming machine.

    I'll mainly use it to work on homework and some mturk when I'm away from my desktop. I also might play some hearthstone on it since that's all I used my iPad for

    Not sure what your price range is, but I <3 my Lenovo Yoga 720 that I got after that ash hole jacked my old laptop.

    So there's that.

    I'll check that out, I don't really have a set price range. I currently am using a Lenovo yoga from a few years ago and mostly liked it besides the build quality and shitty wireless

    You should check out https://www.reddit.com/r/SuggestALaptop. The people there seemed to be pretty helpful when I was looking for a laptop. You can either just lurk and probably find some good info, or make a post (there's a form you can copy and paste into your post that you fill out about what you need it for, price range, etc...).

    The 720 seems solid. all aluminium case, hinge is rock solid. I've had no problems with the wireless at all. Only minor annoyance is they embraced USB-C, so I needed to pick up a couple adapters for some stuff.

    The keyboard/trackpad/screen are fantastic.
