Those basket brewers are the easiest and cheapest way for people to brew loose leaf tea.

Lipton sells the regular tea bags and then they also sell a cold brew tea bag...Whats the difference? (except the obvious)

The cold brew bags are bigger and that looks like it is the only difference lol.

I mean lipton in general is a weird 'tea'. I don't think that you can even over steep the stuff.

It just seems to get more caffeine the longer you steep it

Well yeah because lipton is a weird cheap tea. Normally tea would get bitter if after a certain point.

@Hummingbirdee prob would know more about general tea drinking than I do. I'm not sure what she drinks but I'm pretty sure that she doesn't drink Lipton lol.

But in general for hot brewing this is what most tea people use:

    Tea Temperature Minutes
    Black 95°C / 205°F 3 - 5
    Oolong/White 85°C / 185°F 3 - 4
    Green/Yellow 80°C / 176°F 2 - 3
    Herbal/Tisanes 100°C / 212°F 5 - 15
