Maybe you could make a thread for other avenues of income, but just not allow it on this daily thread????

 

I have the Prime store card. It's financing for $149 or more.

 

I have that card as well and when they added the 5% it asked me what I wanted my default to be for over $X purchases. It still lets me choose between them if my purchase is high enough to qualify for the financing.

 

I kind of like it in the daily thread, at least on occasion.. I mean the point of this thread is 50% to help folks make money, 50% to provide an avenue for folks working on Turk/at-home a social outlet so they don't lose their minds plugging away at Breligs all day. I think it fits in both categories, and damn if I haven't learned a lot about "phone farming" even if I'll never actually get into it, its cool knowing that income generation is out there. I think a couple folks have picked it up (and I hope profited off it) from either here or back on MTG.

There isn't much I like in regards to "banning" content/discussion from daily threads (the exception is topics that fit into the "sour GRAPES" mantra). Giving people the ability to filter content they don't want to see is preferable to banning it IMO.

ETA: Obviously dedicated threads/discussion places for large-scale topics like CCs is needed/incredibly valuable, just speaking on the "ban it" topic.

The idea behind having a special thread or area for it is so that the info is always available rather just just mentioned once on some random day. I did not mean to ban it from the daily thread, because that is how we find out about it in the first place- but would be nice to have an area we could discuss different things in and ask questions, etc. I meant we wouldn't ask questions or go into long detailed answers in the daily thread.
I was not aware of using cell phones to make money until I read about it here- I bookmarked that thread that day, but otherwise would have no idea where to look for more info or opinions, etc. I would love more ideas on how to make money- I like doing different things- I bookmarked some other conversations about other platforms to work on-, too- would be nice to have it all in one area for reference.

 

I stopped caring about internet history awhile ago. I'm the only one who uses my computer anyways.

 

General Discussion would be a great spot for that kind of thing. @Celtic Lady also already created a CC thread

 

I got really into credit when I got divorced and was trying to make sure mine was in tip-top shape. I've learned a lot about them and how they aren't a bad thing if used properly.
