09/06 - Waning Wednesday!

He's not gonna wander into a live trap for no reason, and he's definitely hungry, need something smelly AF for him. We've only thus far had to chase off a few squirrels though I imagine at some point I'm gonna find a coon or rando cat in it. A few other folks in town have live traps out in case he wanders out their way too, and my entire neighborhood is on Bearnie watch 2017. His mugshot has been distrinbuted and I will pay a bounty for his safe return.

The town is half nice folks and half, uh, interesting people who don't feed their dogs consistently or have fences. So, I'm a bit worried Bearnie will make a wrong turn into a bad part of the neighborhood and end up someone else's cat or worse.

That little dude is seriously fast. I've always known he had super cat speed, but seeing him flee from a coon was about the fastest I've seen him go. We have his litter and food on the porch too, so we can hope he will wander back to the house. I walk around the block shaking cat treats and calling for him every hour or so too, which is how I saw him before.

I've got two now.. one is one of the smaller 1200W portables I mostly use for tailgating then after last year's hurricane I bought this 1500/1800 portable so this time I can watch TV and still have the fridge running

Sidenote, PE: 20 gal of water / water storage. Bring on the apocalypse baby

 

He's bolted out of the door a few times, but usually veers back immediately. A couple times he's prowled into the yard and gotten weird but shaking treats or catnip usually got him to turn around to me, but the dogs ran towards him in the dark and I think he's just been spooked since then. Gotta give the little fucker credit for running off the day before his snip snip procedure. Now, if he could just come home before I need to leave for friggen Cali next week, THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

I would be less stressed over someone stealing my car or robbing my house.

Shit, does someone want the car in return for Bearnie? Kidney? Earrings? Cold hard cash? A flatscreen? Do they want Matt?
