You just aren't serious enough about your coffee.

 

Well yeah it is hard to pull off.. that is why you use water at ~80c.

You realize that coffee gets just as crazy. It would be better to compare your coffee drinking to tea bags than loose leaf.

Oh, Well I am in luxurious Fayetteville. I can live anywhere but my family is here (for now) We are building log cabins on a lot outside Asheville hopefully soon as my father just retired from his practice

I use different water temps based on the tea leaves. My black teas I use like 205 but my other teas I usually use a lower temp. Whenever I use a lower temp my tea tastes wonky. I say this cause we've had some knock down drag out arguments in my house about why English Breakfast tastes like shit if you're too lazy to let the water get hot enough. DO YOU HEAR THAT MATTHEW?!
