I buy cameras that are good out to 85 feet in the dark so they are a little more $79 each - and the DVR/W DRIVE and cabling is $250 - And I usually have my nephew run through the attic. BUt I have never had an issue and they all upload to my AWS S3 account and are viewable by a monitor that I install in the living room usually above the TV plus all smartphones. I have cameras at my moms that are 12 years old
