He pushed his start date back a couple weeks so we have a bit more time! Taking the interview, but no guarantee they make an offer OR one in time for him to even feasibly take it. Depending on what program they put him in at Scaled, he could end up having a non-compete which would stop him from working on similar projects at Space X for a couple years.

But, when Space-X knocks, you answer!

 

He has a shit ton of bitcoin on a bitcoin buy/sell market. He puts up a "wall" which is basically a big block of bitcoin that is for sale at a certain price. This is a way to stabilize the price. People keep picking away at it.

He applied for them at the same time, Space X just took longer to come a calling. It's mostly cause he snagged his interview via crashing the VIP party that Scaled was at and wooing them into a super ASAP interview.

He's trading crypto, he put up a bunch of his BTC for sale ("a wall") to try to manipulate the market into not going up on w/e platform he's trading on. Someone is buying his BTC ("eating his wall") against his wishes. He can either continue adding more at his current sale price, or his manipulation attempt will fail and the price will increase (though he'll likely leave with a profit anyway, just not as large as it could have been if he HODL'd his butthole like a true crypto-zoologist).

TL;DR: He's gambling with internet play money.
