I just told my brother that he needed to clean the catbox that is in his bathroom because it is making his room smell like cat shit.

His reply to that was that he just cleaned it yesterday and after a few seconds of pause he said "Oh it might be the trashcan, I haven't taken it out yet"

ffs who cleans a catbox and throws it into a trashcan instead of just throwing it away right away. And this isn't even a trashcan that had a bag... he might be throwing into just a plastic bin with no lid

 

We use the old tub containers of litter to store the used up litter and then chunk those when they are full up, works like a charm!

 

I bet that those have a lid though.

 

Well yes, I was more suggesting it as an idea.

We also use a giant blue tub with a hole in the lid and a carpet square as a big ass covered litterbox, works great!

 

Their litter comes in those cardbox boxes but yeah he really should be doing something other than what he is currently.

Poop is one of the many reasons dogs > cats.

 

Yeah dogs even clean the poop up for you.

 

They'll clean up the litter box too if you let em.
