We prob only had dialup for a few weeks in my actual memory. I think that it was some sort of issue that my parents had with their ISP so they went back to dialup until they switched to a new one or some shit.

But during that time I just turned off the dialup sounds because they annoyed me lol

I thought this said "answer a survey about meth" and immediately clicked on it... what is wrong with me.

To be fair, my feelings about math and meth are strangely similar.

 

Overwatch switches between them? I thought that it automatically goes back to running after the search all finishes?

This was after first turning it on so I had never hit the running button at all

 

I think the last time that I closed my overwatch tab was about a month ago.

 

That's actually the example that always comes to mind when I think about it. That, and the fact that Johnny Carson's first decade as host of the Tonight Show is pretty much completely gone. NBC also wants you to forget that Conan hosted at some point, but that was fairly recently so I'm sure it's a cakewalk to find all of that.

I went through a huge decluttering phase earlier this year. That actually prompted the purchase of the 2tb drive. I got rid of a few hundred books, about 200 records, a big box of VHS, and countless DVDs and CDs. I actually got rid of a lot of good stuff, too, and some rare/valuable things. I still feel like I could part with a few more things (my turntable hasn't been used in years). I realized that I wasn't hoarding for my benefit, but to project some sort of image of "cultural sophistication". Also, I realized that for every 100 used records I bought at .25 that I'm only so-so about, I could've bought one new copy of a record I really liked. The things I do have around now I feel represent my personality, my likes, and my usage habits a whole lot better.
