Must be running windows. (although there isn't really wrong with that.. windows just has gotten really bad about long updates lately)

 

Is there any option that I am overlooking on HIT Finder that allows you to only allow certain TO HITS to show, but also allow HITS with no TO?

So you want it to show your include list + no TO at the same time but nothing else? I don't believe it has that option currently but it should be possible with how it currently works for him to add that.

I don't know (doubt it), but really and truly you shouldn't filter by TO. Generously using a block list is far superior to TO filtering. That website is an absolute mess and none of its data can really be trusted enough to apply a filter based off it.

Yeah I believe that Kadauchi and a few others where talking about making a replacement to TO at some point because it is shit... but until then.. it is a decent bit of extra info that is useful but I wouldn't filter by it.

My understanding is feih was hired or somehow retained to work on TO, but I don't know when that was or if any actual progress has been (or ever will be) made..

Even if the site gets redesigned.. I just don't trust it anymore. Obviously if 80 people report blocks/rejections its probably legit, but at this point the only work I see that lasts more than 5 minutes on mTurk tends to have mysteriously bad TO reports on it.

 

Windows updates don't actually take that long to run on my computer. Most likely it is because I have windows on an SSD.

I'll be moving more over to linux once I build my new computer with AMD Ryzen (well unless it ends up being shit lol).

i mean it didn't take long. it just did without telling me, so I didn't restart OW and some PANDAs for the night

 

Ah I have automatic updates locked down through the group policy settings on my computer. (You need to have a pro windows licence for that now.. for whatever reason)
