Without temperature control isn't ideal but it would be at least easier than a microwave.

I have learned that 2 cups of water in my microwave for 4 minutes get me to about 205-210 degrees. Of course, sometimes I put my water on the stovetop or something and walk away. Not, like, in a pot or something. I literally fill the measuring cup and then put it on the stove, and then wonder why my water isn't hot yet.

I don't drink tea much - once a week, but I just boil water and then take a lipton tea bag and bounce it up and down in the water. Shit works fantastic, and I don't plan on fixing what's not broken,- tastes fine, easy, cheap, convenient, quick, 10/10

I assume that you mostly just drink black?

Oolong/Whites/Greens/Yellows/ would be more annoying to get the proper temp but blacks should be fine.

Yeah, so, not hard at all with a microwave. I have about a thousand food thermometers in my house and know that I like to get my water just above a simmer. A simmer is about 195 degrees, so if it's above a simmer and below a rolling boil, I can correctly assume my water is around 200 or so.

I push a button and about 90 seconds later it is at the exact temp to the degree.

Dude, do you just always think you are right about the best way to do something? I've been drinking tea my whole life and I know what temps I prefer to steep all my regular teas at and it's a big variety. I don't have any problem with different types of tea because I don't have my head up my ass.

If you want to use a kettle, fucking go for it. Outside of an electric kettle, I personally don't enjoy them and I'll make my tea the way I see fit.

you doing that $10 do 6 tasks thing?

I threw it back because I'm not answering 12 identical questionnaires PLUS 12 writing sections. Nope. I'm worth more than $10 for that

I forget what temp it heats to but I specifically got one that heats water hot enough to cook with so I could make tea and oatmeal with out having to worry about carrying hot water and more than likely burning my self.
