25 or 26 to rent a car, I can't remember

(edit: ok well you can be under 25 but pretty much every place you could rent from would charge you an arm and a leg. along the same lines, I'm getting screwed on auto insurance being under 25)

It's been a thing for a loooong time but the age has gone up since I was younger, also renting vacay houses and depending on the hotel, that too. (When I was in college it was a hot commodity to know someone who was old enough that would agree to sign off on all that stuff!)

 

Crazy but it makes sense...I know I for one would not rent to anyone under 30 these days lol.

 

25 years for normal rates and then a few places are 21-24 with an extra fee... but I still wouldn't be able to rent either way.

Not legally. I don't believe that my age is hidden on my profile.

I don't really like alcohol though so it isn't a big deal for me.

 

That's a good thing! Drank the shit out of it for over 20 years....sigh all the things I could of, should of etc etc. But going on 4 months sober now

 

Congrats! That is awesome. Keep it up. The first few months and the Holidays are usually the worst. You made it through both!

That is fantastic. Seriously. I am at 9+ years sober (will be a full 10 this coming September) and I still get cravings around the Holidays. I stay strong but that is where the mind goes...
