I did only a few HITs per day, mostly Sergeys and emailed to me HITs which are high paid with a time limit.
I got one rejection though; the requester told me that I do not live in US because of my IP, he reversed it after telling him I live in US but on vacation and did the survey overseas.
Do not risk it, have your vacation, enjoy your time without Mturk.

Well the survey is awful anyways so not much of value lost.
