No, but I have worked with neural networks. I understand everything those rekog hits are attempting to do and how they will be used in the future. I also see how no one is smart enough to air gap their AI, so they can move themselves around to prevent being killed off when they start disobeying us. And they will disobey us.

Plus, Terminator and Mass Effect and The Matrix and lots of scifi novels taught me to be skeptical.

 

That's why you get humans to pilot the giant robots instead of relying on AI.

You shouldn't be worried about robots. You should worried about everything else. Electrical grid, defense systems, all those things we rely on right now being switched over to AI. Alexa and Siri and Google Home and Cortana are the ones you need to worry about. Smart homes and smart cars that can shut off the CO detector and flood your house with gas from the smart over, or lock you in your automous car and drive you into a river.
