Bearnie started purring at me this morning after hiding for awhile, and then Matt starts yelling in his sleep again.

@Hummingbirdee I know I haven't said anything about it because I don't know you or Bearnie, but I've been quietly following the developments and hoping ardently for his return. My most beloved cat was allowed to roam the neighborhood (He was wild when I found him. He could fend for himself and wanted to go out sometimes, and I didn't want to force domestication on him), but he went off one night a couple of years ago, and and never came back. I'm so glad that wasn't the case here, and that you can know now that your adorable little loved one is safe and sound.

Poor thing looks like he's too domesticated to have found food in "the wild", and finally gave up his rebellion. I'd bet he had some awesome adventures, though. If only cats could talk.

Thank youuuu! Bearnie is a strange little cat and I'm glad he's back relatively unharmed. I can't imagine what being outside during the hurricane was like, but he seems to be at least somewhat happy about being back indoors. He was a feral kitten I trapped cause he was sickly, and this is the longest he's been outdoors since then. I think for his sketchy health and inexperience outdoors, he at least fended for himself well enough to come back home in one piece!
