    Are they taxed super hard? Whenever I visit Washington, the liquor I can buy in the grocery store is always like 40% more than what it's listed for because it's taxed twice or something fucky.

    The sales tax is like 6%, which I'm not 100% thrilled about, but I don't really buy enough liquor to be worried lol. It's just super convenient I can pick up a bottle for my freezer when I'm food shopping rather than having to remember to get my ass to a liquor store before 7pm or whatever. Every time I've gone to make vodka sauce or something for the last 6 years, I always seem to forget to go on time on the right day since I usually do groceries on Sunday. It's a pain in the ass to buy booze in the deep south some days.

    I haven't been to a liquor store since I had picked up a few sample bottles at Christmas when I got my sis a bottle of tequila. They did come in handy last time I was sick. Usually I end up with a cough that lasts weeks. I made hot toddy's for two nights in a row and the cough disappeared.

    I'd happily pay extra taxes to avoid having to go to liquor stores. I might actually be willing to shop around enough to find something I actually like, which was not any of the samples that I tried:(

    We found Matt's time capsule for the future (and aliens) where he explains how time works. He was adamant I take a photo so everyone could know that he hit a golf ball at 12:00 on new years of the new millenium and so was the first person to hit a golf ball this millenium. :emoji_joy:
