I guess some vets just do it how they were trained. I used to do some volunteer work at a local pound and have actually been the room for a few operations. It is really fast on those tiny dogs and cats. They could do 20 animals in 4 hours. The bigger animals always took a lot longer and required more recovery time. Poor eunuchs.
