To piggy back on @Melting Glacier , this part here is one of the secrets to mturk. When there's good work up you should be working at 110%. When it's slim pickings take a break instead of hamming $4/hr work. That break will help you when the next batch pops up. Yea, turking is a grind but you're most effective when that grind is a series of sprints. No one has unlimited focus and you need to manage that resource over the course of the day. (This is actually fact. Source: longitudinal hit where we took part in a graduate level childhood psych class )

The forum is a great resource but you need to use it correctly. The people who are shit posting here when the is going, those people are donating to everyone else's PE. Don't be those people.

scary cus 9 min timer but initial description says may take up to 15 ... WTF?

 

Could you have your TV links save as HTTP, since everything else exports as HTTPS, then set your trigger for HTTPS://www.mturk.com/mturk/previewandaccept instead of just "previewandaccept". HTTP will auto-redirect to https anyways and nobody will else will probably have an exporter that will export as http.

 

drop a roll of quarters on the floor, then when they are looking for them, change the channel

 

I could fix it by excluding the TV exports since they're in a special container. Was just cracking a joke in the OP lol. Will probably just leave it be because they don't really react negatively with each other.
