took me forever to get mine verified with new bank, finally just had them throw it in savings account which was no problem to verify for whatever reason

 

Can you link your old account to your new one without disrupting Amazon Payments? That's the way to go if possible. People have had problems and delays when they've switched banks.

Had the same issue when I changed over bank accounts. Had to do it manually, but kept on their ass through email and they resolved it within a day or so.
