    So I'm looking for places to rent once I have enough money to go off on my own and I found an apartment complex that is super affordable and is in a really beautiful historic building. I now have a goal :D

    If the other suggestions given don't help her nose bleeds then she may want to go to the doctor and get a swab done. I was having nose bleeds off and on for many years and it turned out to be a type of staph infection that no one ever tested me for until I went to see an allergist and mentioned them to him along with my allergy symptoms.

    A little over a year, and you are right, she does get them at season changes. I will talk a bit more with her and make sure she is drinking water (not her strong suit)

    I will keep this in mind as well. She has seen an allergist, though years ago. You are right, I will tell her the other things to do, and if not, we should probably go see an Allergist. I was thinking an ENT but this makes sense as well.

    I've heard of using a saline spray up the nose or even swabbing vaseline in the nose. I could never stand it though.

    Any doctor would be able to do the swab but she may have to be a little more stern about it to get a regular pcp to do one at her request. Would likely be cheaper though to go through her pcp if you two decide she should get the swab done rather than at an allergist.
