    To piggyback on this: I have a google news alert set up with the keywords mturk and mechanical turk, so I get an email for any papers or articles that reference research we had a hand in, which is always interesting.

    You can check by going to pending quals on mTurk: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/pendingquals

    I never requested it because I figured out early on that even if you're later granted the qual it never comes off that list, and I never wanted my list to be a huge wasteland so I stopped requesting quals.

    Yeah, but, the life insurance goes to me now, so I'm one tragic accident away from $$$$. Jk, I like him alive. I get him to wear a helmet on his dirt bike and if he's doing anyything sketchy on his bike, but I cannot force a 30 year old man to do something he doesn't want to.
