I don't know why you need a serious answer to that question, but alright..

If you want to share your personal life details to a reasonable extent, feel free - no it is not against the rules to share information about yourself. You'll notice plenty of members, and one special kitty cat, who do so frequently.

I'll probably remove anything exceptionally identifying (like a street address) that you post for the simple fact that I never want the hassle of someone coming here to find you. I have no clue what any of you do in your daily lives, and would rather not have the headache 3 months down the road when it turns out you're a runaway fugitive hiding out in Mexico and the biggest treasure trove of google-fu information on you happens to be here. So, y'know, cover my ass and all that. I will always cooperate fully with law enforcement of any city, county, municipality, neighborhood watch, home owner's association, state, or country, including those with extradition treaties with my country of origin (the United States of America) or with spy agencies capable of kidnapping people in my country of origin (the United States of America) with minimal hassle and very little more than a phone call request from any of them so what you post in the way of your personal information should be done so with that in mind. Sometimes it'll slide (ie, some of the BearnieLULZ that @GoldGuardian pulls off), but that pretty much follows the nebulous rules of dating:

1) Be attractive (be funny, for our purposes)
