Part of my job is editing and I literally have conversations like this on the daily. Sometimes I want to slam my head into a wall because everything stops making sense to me.

Meanwhile, I used my Pysch degree with minors in Music and English to get a job that requires an English degree.

The solution is simple, we all live in the twilight zone.

I took the alternate route, I latched onto someone with way better credit than I have and let him put everything in his name.

Boom.

(jk guys, it's more coincidental he has better credit than me than purposeful)

 

I have been doing something similar - my credit was dragged through the mud by my ex. At this point I have a respectable score (up 150 points since last summer) and hope to have all of my debts paid off by next summer.

 

Assuming you took his name, you two should change to your maiden name.
