Tabby will bolt into my room and get near me whenever any of the cats go aggro on her.

 

She also kinda treats me like I am her kitten.

 

The boys sometimes get aggresive with one another and after I break them up, they both start grooming me and purring at me.

I am the provider of food, the provider of medical attention, the provider of love- Do.Not.Mess.With.Me.

 

All of the girls tend to get all up on my futon mattress with me when I go to bed. Baby will actually groom my hair.

Maaan, I missed all the good HITs while I was gone today. Anything decent still going?

Good news: I still have 20/20 vision, and my eyes are in good health!
Bad news: I've become a bit far-sighted, and have slight astigmatism of the left eye.

I now have reading glasses, which will hopefully help minimize all the headaches I've been getting from working on the computer all day. It feels super weird though, to have something on my face like this, and to see the frames in my field of view. This will take a lot of getting used to. Blech.

Astigmatism is a Grinch, hopefully yours doesn't get much worse! I can't see jack shit without special contacts or glasses in my right eye cause I have a bullshit astigmatism.

Fun fact, I also have a mild nystagmus which is normally harmless AF but it's how cops check for drunkeness when they make you folllow their fingers so while most people will have a nystagmus only when shitfaced, I will perpetually look drunk if a cop ever wanted to test me. I had to once take a breathalyzer because of this and my shit balance when anxious. Blew a 0.0, had a good laugh about it later.

Welcome to the brotherhood of lenses! We are a simple people, but we are fun. You get used to the lenses all up in your face after awhile and reading glasses are pretty hot if you ask me!
