Evening, Co-Turkers.

Pissed about the rejection I got from savvyresearcher005 today, on a HIT I did yesterday. All they wrote in their comments was "X" but I assume from the other descriptions on Turkopticon, that they were rejecting anyone who did the HIT in less than 8 minutes. I completed mine 3 seconds shy of 5 minutes.

I've written them a respectful letter telling them that when I rate routers, even mesh network ones, all I care about is ONE criteria, I told them exactly what that criteria was, and I told them that if they review my answers they'll find exactly what I've described is the method to my decisions on their survey.

I see in TO that they know how to reverse rejections, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

FWIW, X is the "default" way to reject a HIT according to mTurk's official documentation. They don't really make it obvious if you're rejecting through the CSV that you could put an explanation there, and it just says to mark an X in the accept/reject column depending on what you wanna do w/ the HIT IIRC.

So anytime ya see that and your blood boils, give at least half the anger to the good ol' mTurk technical doc writers (unless something changed in the last year)
