That Yigal Attali hit was terrible. 50 open ended questions. It took probably 15-20 minutes for $2. Don't bother doing it if you catch it.

 

I went through a major Helen Keller phase in elementary school and the library had to order more books for me about it. We had a really nice librarian who taught me some ASL! I was freakishly ahead of the reading level for my grade because my sister was 6 years older and I just read whatever she was, so my teachers had to give me alternate book reports cause I had usually read the required books already- I was awful! Talk about an 8 year old book nerd lol.

Actually, I'm still a library nerd! Library nerds unite!

Right? It was like damn Christmas whenever it came around. I'd flip through the catalog for days, circling books I wanted and making my own budget and saving up for it. Then walking in like I owned the place, and buying 10x more than I expected to because OMG BOOKS! And my dad would give me more money than I asked for, because how can you not support a kid that liked to read? Goosebumps were totally my jam. And Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

 

Pre-goosebumps and hundreds upon hundreds fantasy novels, this was my jam:

Librarians are really cool aren't they? I wish I could make more time to read, but alas, adulting.

I preferred Fear Street. My goal was to own every one...I failed, but I have a lot of them!

I loved Helen Keller.

 

I like to do a face mask and read at least 3x a week, that's my DONT SPEAK TO ME time. Add in a cocktail, A+. If I go to long without reading something for enjoyment, I go a little cuckoo.
