Lowes and Home Depots actually build near each other on purpose. It's Lowes strategy to build near HDs

 

Today pest control came by to spray for pests. I had to take everything out of cupboards, drawers, and leave the house for a few hours. When I got back, the first thing I did was start setting up my laptop again. I had put it in a spare room that has nothing in it, and told him not to spray in that room, no one ever goes in it. Found the door to that room wide open...so he didn't listen. Got the laptop set up again, went to turn it on, and it didn't. Tried another outlet, nothing. Tried another power supply, nothing.

That ash hole ruined my laptop. Told the landlord and she's balking on my request that they fix it. She keeps trying to give me other power supplies to try. None of them work. My laptop is a brick. She wants to know how I could say it was pest control. I was using it when they arrived. It worked when I left, it doesn't work when I came back. The only thing that changed was the pest control guy was there. Simple math.

I'm on a really old computer right now that isn't supported anymore...it's almost 10 years old. Told her if she wants rent money next month, (since mTurk supplements my income, they better fix it. I think they are going to try to get out of it. Scum.

What's funny is Lowe's purposely designed the store to be appealing to women and I'd rather go to Home Depot any day.
