I get creeped out by spiders but orb weavers will eat a ton of bugs and rarely, if ever bother you so I can deal with them living on my porch. I used to live in this shitty, old, half subterranean apartment and would get so many bugs until a harmless spider I named Larry moved in. I will normally flip out when I see a spider, so Matt was shocked I let the little dude live in the corner. We had a tacit agreement that as long as he stayed out of my way, I wouldn't smash him. He killed many bugs over the years and I think he was even eating any little spiders that made the mistake of invading my place.

Now, I have Bearnie who will murder any bug he sees.
