I would say to contact the retailer as well and see if they cannot just reship the order due to the issues with the delivery and the fact that you did not get the order. The UPS shipping insurance covers the shipper not the receiver. Also I like @xxGREENxx's idea in that if this is a troubled neighbor such as I have. Write a kind note stating that the contents of the delivery is children's clothing. I would also state that if they needed coats for their children then charity is given to those in need but thieves, liars and cheats should be dealt in the harshest of terms.

I'm petty like this! A couple years ago I had some fabric delivered to the wrong place and they refused to give it back. The fabric was for blankets that i make every year for kids in the hospital (my child usually spends about 6 months out of the year in the hospital so its just something we've been doing forever) So every year for the past 3 years I send these people xmas cards telling them they are crappy persons, taking blankets from dieing children, and that I havent forgot and jesus won't forget either. Haha. I guess now I have to add another card to the list. Like how hard is it, to give back a package that you know doesnt belong to you?

Missouri, I actually live next to some nice neighbors. They arent all bad. This is actually the first problem we've had here since we moved 3 years ago. But this guys now on my shit list.
