When we bought ours both toilets had a tenancy to run for long periods as the flush valves were old and just didn't always turn off when they should have. I put it on the list of things to eventually fix. First water bill was over $200. I very quickly learned how to replace flush valves lol. You'll be amazed at how handy you suddenly become as a home owner.
