    Spending the money on chargers and rechargeable batteries is so worth it. Had the same set of 24 batteries for over a year and I use them in wii-motes, Xbox one controls, camera, and the tv remote all the time so they get plenty of use and still work.

    Yeah, we have those but fiancé is always sniping them for the plane headsets and radios so it's not unusual for me to pull the batteries out something and find he's swapped them. I'd buy more rechargeables but I'm about 90% sure they would grow legs and walk off to his shop with the others! Going to eventually get one of those spiffy wireless mousies that only needs a new battery once every year or something but can't justify it until my current one eats it. One of these days the dogs will do me a favor and destroy it... I hope.

    Edit: This is also why I have wii-mote specific rechargeable battery packs with a dock!
