Yes, all requesters you made more than $600 with sent them to you, just like would happen if you worked locally. Much more legitimate that way IMO. It stopped several years ago and they switched to the new system.

 

....No? This is like saying the IRS wouldn't take a business's sales receipts.. Its self reported income, how else are you to prove your income as a self employed individual (business)?

All it is is an extensively detailed/documented corroboration of:

1) Your bank statements
2) Amazon's yearly earnings display
3) Weekly e-mails
4) All of the 500 other fantastic ways of showing what you made, none of which aren't even remotely as detailed as the HITDB logs.

Of course any of the above can be forged, which is why you use them all in conjunction with each other to serve as corroborating evidence from as many sources as you see fit such that the nice dude/lady you get stuck with can see you're probably not smuggling crack through the Intertubewebs s/he knows next to nothing about.

The only more important document would be the 1099 if you earn enough to get one.
