    We keep meeting conspiracy theorists in the town who think that everything is going to flood Noah's Ark style and that they need houses at as high of an elevation as possible to avoid death. Sadly, the mountains around us are privately owned so the highest you can get here is like 4k feet, but I've been told it's hopefully enough that I might survive the great flood that's bound to happen in the next 5 -10 years.
