10/17 - Tremendous Tuesday!

It's true, but not a polite thing to say

 

Girl, I've been here since early this morning. I met my daily goal and am doing some cooking and housework.

 

I like sports because they involve many muscular gentleman beating the snot out of each other or displaying athletic prowess in matchy matchy outfits for my amusement.

All those butts in tight pants.

 

I don't think there's anything wrong with having a sense of emptiness from doing work that very few people relate to and wanting to fill that void by chatting with people that understand you. That's what a lot of people do here, and some (cough, Randomacts... lol) probably do a bit too much. I don't mean "loner" as an insult, just as an observation of fact. It doesn't mean you're socially inept or whatever. Just that you're a person who is alone in some sense. Take it as literally as possible and drop any negative connotations you've attached to it.

I've never bashed an entire group, only half-seriously bash individuals (i.e., Randomacts), and my complaints are aimed at specific events that occur to me (i.e., in my FB group, "Oh, I was banned from MTC because I scared their power clique. In other news, water is wet, and we'll continue going on here like usual.").

Which is why I keep pushing my group. My long-term vision is to drastically increase the pool of capable mTurk scripters, using my past A/V and teaching experience to put together some commercial-quality courses that are on par with what you'd expect from a site like Udemy or Lynda. To me, becoming a proficient web developer is basically the endgame of mTurk. If it weren't such a great platform for applied web development experiments, I likely wouldn't be here.

 

Its when what you say may be factually or technically correct but the way you say it or the implication behind it is rude/insulting/malicious/etc.

Technically correct. Morally wrong.

Hey now, I love my Frankstein script, even if it's stopped working correctly and is instead randomly opening hundreds of tabs again.

 

A whole bunch of wonky wobbly turds sprinkled over a lack of pleonasm to complete this task to its fruition. (Just find a way to expand that to 100 words).

 

I see..and you don't get a McCoy pic because I forgot this old laptop doesn't PS. I curse the pesticide guy again for this inability to create the memes I want.

Source: I wrote a script the other day that opened probably 500 tabs before I was able to shut it down.
Typo in a variable name made something false out of something that was supposed to be true.
