    A combination of both, really! I don't see them as being horrible per se...just not really something I ever feel like doing for the pay. I'd need them to be more in line with like...$0.50/min for me to reconsider. Which isn't going to happen :)

    Comparing PEs is good for motivation for the future, not for despairing for today. It takes time to figure out what you're good at, which requesters to watch for, how to script well, what quals you have, etc. This doesn't happen overnight; particularly in regards to getting closed quals. Spending time just doing what you're doing as well as gleaning from more experienced turkers on here is the best thing for you. Before I joined I made $25/day and that was my best. About 8 months later I can make $70-90/day in the same or less time and that's my best. In a few months my best might be more or less. All depends on how the mturk wheel spins. :)

    The best batches never last that long. If you are not around to catch the batch from the beginning, with PANDA's at the ready you might be hard pressed to get any at all. Sometimes there are really nice batches that drop and you will never see them because they're being PANDA'd off the scraper before you even think to run one. Staying on top of higher paying surveys, and knowing when to quit on a PANDA. A dozen other things that become second nature after you turk long enough.

    Didn't realize they had a .380 carbine. We have a couple of AR9 Carbines and a 300BO pistol that are fun to shoot. I may have to look into it. We have a problem with possums trying to kill the chickens and cats. The 10/22 sometimes isn't enough but everything else is overkill and very loud at 2am. That .380 may be the ticket.
