I was one of the Reddit knockers. I hung around there for a few weeks. There's an element of non-helpfulness there, and I'm not talking about noob noob.

 

I was on r/beermoney forever and then when I found mturk forums, my mind was blown that I could make real money

 

Yeah. Facebook groups honestly annoy me more than provide value. I'm part of several (non-turk related) and people have a hard time finding any old data and the same questions/answers gets reposted over and over and over again, despite having a pinned post or an link to the FAQ in the side bar.

 

I've dabbled in several, and the only useful one I've found is @Totally Not , 's. There's potential, but people -- by and large -- are dumb.

Note: Not talking about n00bs here. They get a free pass for a few months.

 

I'm almost positive like 60% of the forum is from reddit at one point or another lol.

Like.. Folks.. Do you think if this person's question was answered in the search bar they would have asked it?

 

This is 99.999% of the reason why I never bothered until now. I assumed ya'll just refreshed and dug through the conversation posts and I was like HOW pray tell is that going to ever help me

 

The Facebook groups I was in were toxic. If you were a male they snubbed you out of the group. I put the theory to the test by adding a fake female account, and I would ask the same things a day later. It was 2-3 people posting <4.0 ratings off of HF only. The rest leeched or asked for people's PC lists or OW lists constantly.

Beermoney is all about having 25 device ad farms with unlimited gigabit data plans. Otherwise it's hours of passive crap for pennies. I still don't understand why people five a shit about surveys on those sites.

 

That's what I do already lol, just refreshing newest first. Recently most of my turking time has been at my part time job where I didn't have any scrapers going

Same here. I was happy back then with $7 a day (those were rare good days), I come here (sorry i lurked for so long, guys) and am consistently hitting $20 and am seeing that number go up every day.

 

I'm convinced it's mostly just underaged teens who need the cash and their allowance just doesn't go far enough. You know, the type of people who don't realize how much their time is actually worth and don't quite want to get a proper part-time job even though it comes out to more money for less effort.
