You can make plenty without Masters. Almost every one of us who has Masters, had the ability to get higher PE's before getting it and did. Things didn't suddenly happen when we got Masters. Just give yourself time, add more requesters to OW, do quals when they are available, and be diligent when you are on. In the meantime, do batches when they post and do the better paying surveys when you can. And use your pandas wisely, don't run 20 and expect to catch something.

Houston, we have a problem.

I got the same Mad Labs as yesterday and Tuesday. 3 days, exactly same questions. I am worried.

 

Did you see my advice above. If not, I repeat, don't return well paying HITs when you encounter a problem, especially not one with a 5 hour timer, plenty of time to find a fix. Try to see if there's a solution, either on your own or ask in here. People posted remedies almost immediately.

Nothing to be worried about. I'd say we had the same ones for darn near 3 weeks straight in the summer.

 

Well i have hitscraper open 24/7 looking for anything and about80% of the time its gone before i can even click it, i have it set to refresh every 2 seconds. Pandas cause mturk to give me a message saying i reached the maximum allowed refreshes.

I have no masters and i'm at $17.82 for the day (not counting any bonuses)
And that's with little motivation.
A needy puppy that i'm puppy sitting.
A one hour nap (only up for 3 hours total so far)
And cooking breakfast.

And I don't have any closed qual batch I'm working on. I just hit EVERYTHING people up in here post.

I didn't mind the town, it wasn't my dream or anything, but I would have moved if his salary was right. They really short changed him though to a point of being an offensive offer, and with the cost of living being a bit high there, it wouldn't have been a great fiscal move. I really like Seattle and he enjoyed the state when he was up tromping around the woods before he went to Alaska, so I think it's likely we might migrate that direction eventually. I love the coast and he loves the mountains, so it would be a nice medium for us.

I'm still in a state of shock because I was depositing his paycheck and realized there was almost 43% witholding. Mine was bad, but that's...holy mother of witholding. I know he'll get some of that back after taxes but just, sticker shock here.

I can't speak to Idaho, but I can say the Southeast has a very reasonable cost of living, both my parents moved down south after they sold their respective houses in NY and made a tidy little profit!

No, I don't think you were on late enough, but essentially, a MTC admin talked to MTurk directly yesterday. Nothing has changed, they are not trying to go after anyone they weren't trying to before the change in TOS.

Prioritizing your pandas is important. I save a spot for my regular posting hits until they drop and then a few more as higher paying hits come across your scraper. If something that pays more comes around turn off the others and focus on that. Too many pandas will give your pres and make it hard to catch anything and submit hits.

 

I think New Yorkers are genetically programmed to dislike LA. I love cities and I adore most of the major cities in California, but just, NO NEVER NO THANK YOU! I

Matt refuses to go back to the point that we are flying out to Ponderosa so he doesn't have to drive through/near LA at all.
