What I did was log into www regular, worker incognito for OW. I have the extra step of copying the accept link from OW and pasting it into a regular www window. Will do for now.

WHY AREN'T THERE ANY TRAINS? I'm used to a lot of public transport in a major city, and it just peeves me how borderline impossible it is to get around LA in a timely manner. Way too much concrete too. I just cannot. You would have to forcibly remove me from the bay area, but I'll happily fly over LA rather than drive through it for sure.

Matt's boss told me that he figured a NYer I would love LA, and then cracked up as soon as I screwed my face up. There is another guy from LI that works with Matt, and he has the same exact opinion. I'm telling ya, it's genetic programming! They probably show all LI babies a little film when we are born that says, "Oceans GOOD, LA BAD!"

Worst-case scenario (when parsing locally-cached files) sum total with several scripts running:

1.5 seconds of load time added to a HIT before anything even happens.

For penny HITs, 1.5 seconds can make the difference between caviar and dumpster diving.

jQuery-latest is also a popular @require, but its use is discouraged, and it's specifically meant to cache miss, which means that you're waiting for a separate server to respond so that you can start your HIT.

All of this basically just so that you can save a few keystrokes.

If you really want to use $, you could do something that essentially boils down to var $ = document.querySelector; at the top of the script.
If you like doing that all the time, you could save that line to your "new script" template.

Sorry to bring it up out of the blue, but I really, really hate jQuery. :p

I feel that in a forum where I have to explain that jQuery is not synonymous with Javascript, some discouragement is in order.

Multiple versions of jQuery being parsed for different scripts that are running simultaneously but using different versions of the jQuery library.

I have no problem with using jQuery to actually help with something (i.e., simplify XHR requests, add backwards compatibility polyfills for modern JS features, add simple animations quickly and easily, etc.). I just think it's inappropriate and lazy to include the library to do things that are already simple in vanilla JS, like clicking buttons.

Hey folks! If you have our EPL qual, be on the lookout for a SURVEY ONLY hit coming in just a bit.

We're testing a process this week that we'll probably use next week for EPL only. For the next 24 hours we're just interested in collecting survey responses. This is hit is self-contained, in other words, just a survey.

Now, only people who take this survey will be eligible to be in the EPL swarm tomorrow, but if you can't swarm tomorrow, THAT'S OK! It isn't a requirement. We want your survey responses, whether you join the swarm tomorrow or not. The swarm tomorrow will be a completely separate, swarm-only HIT.

Hope that makes sense, but hit me up here if you have any questions!
